What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a comparable way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
Under PECR, we may only store or read information on your device without your consent where it is strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for. Everything else needs your consent, which you give, refuse or change through our cookie banner and cookie settings.

Location lookup (preferences). If you allow preference cookies, we ask the ipwho.is service which country your IP address is in, so we can suggest the right region and currency. Your IP address is sent to that service to do this. If you don't allow preference cookies, we make a rough guess on your device from its time zone and language settings instead, and nothing is sent.
Analytics and marketing. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies at present. If we add them, they will stay off unless you switch them on, and we'll update this policy first.
Third-party services
- Payments: when you choose to pay by card or mobile money, you're taken to Pesapal's secure checkout, which may set its own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention.
- Fonts: our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address so it can deliver the font files.
- Instagram, TikTok and messaging apps: links open those services in a new tab, where their own cookie policies apply.
Managing your choices
You can change your choices at any time in Your Privacy Choices, linked in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies automatically. To apply your choices to data we already hold about you, use our Data Request form. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, but if you do, your bag and region will be forgotten.
